BURMA - RELATED NEWS NETWORK , CAMPAIGNING FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND DEMOCRACY IN BURMA
Burmese pro-democracy activists this week made a human rights award ceremony in Denmark to mark
the National League for Democracy's landslide election victory 17 years ago, and also to remember the
fallen hero human-rights activists who were brutally murdered by military regime and regime's thuggish
militias in Burma at Depayin Massacre 4 years ago.
The Award was given to the long imprisoned pro-democracy journalist in Burma U Win Tin, and it was
accepted, on behalf of U Win Tin who is still serving his 18th year imprisonment, by NCGUB PM Dr. Sein
Win.
